Why I build your website before you pay a dime

A stranger offering to build you a website for free is exactly the kind of thing you should raise an eyebrow at. Good instinct. So here’s the plain version, with nothing hidden.

The usual way is backwards

Most web projects ask you to pay first and hope. You sign something, you hand over a deposit, you fill out a brief, and then you wait — trusting that whatever comes back is worth it. All the risk sits on you, before you’ve seen a single thing.

So I flipped it

I build your website first — a real, custom site designed for your business, usually within about 72 hours. Not a template with your logo pasted on, and not a slideshow of what it might look like. The actual thing, that you can click around and judge. Free to look.

You only pay to launch

If you love it, we put it online and keep it running — that’s the part you pay for. If you don’t, you owe nothing and we part as friends. No deposit, no contract, no guilt-trip follow-ups. A free look is a free look.

Why I can work this way

Because I’m one person, not an agency with a sales team and account managers to feed. When you reach out, you get me — the person who designs, builds, and stands behind your site. Nothing is outsourced. That’s what makes building first, free, something I can actually afford to do — and it’s why I think being small is a feature, not a limitation.

The risk is mine, on purpose. You don’t decide until you can see the real thing.

If that sounds like a fair trade, tell me about your business and I’ll get started.
